Who we are

Mindy Munchs GROW is run by Mindy Munchs, an athlete development company in India. Academies use it so their young athletes can do a short daily check-in about sleep, food, water, training and mood.

What we collect

  • When your child joins: name, date of birth, academy, sport and a parent’s email.
  • After a parent approves: sex, weight and diet, so tips fit your child.
  • Each day: the check-in answers and an optional private note.
  • For staff: name, academy and login ID.

Nothing beyond the joining details is stored until a parent says yes.

Why we use it

To give daily tips, show progress, send parents a short weekly report, and keep children safe. We never sell data or use it for advertising.

Who can see what

  • Athletes see their own scores and tips.
  • Coaches and managers see scores only, never answers or notes.
  • Parents get their own report by email.
  • The Mindy Munchs team reads private notes only to keep children safe. Every view is recorded.
  • The journal is private to your child. Coaches and parents never see it; the Mindy Munchs team sees an entry only if our safety rules flag it.

How long we keep it

Daily check-in answers and journal entries (including private notes) are kept for one 90-day period at a time. At the end of each period, parents get an emailed 3-month summary, and that period’s daily answers, journal entries and closed alerts are then deleted. We keep the summaries, your child’s level, badges, points and badge credit, and a few recent scores so streaks carry on. Records of parent consent are kept as proof.

Your rights

Under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can ask to see, correct or delete your child’s data, or withdraw consent at any time. Withdrawing stops new check-ins straight away. Ask your academy manager or reply to any Mindy Munchs GROW email.

Keeping it safe

Data is stored on secure servers with strict access rules. Admins sign in with a second step, and accounts lock for 15 minutes after 5 wrong attempts.
